About Game Rover

Game Rover was created by a single developer (me) in 2025 as a personal project born out of frustration. Like many gamers, I struggled to keep track of my growing game library across multiple platforms in a format that resonated with me. I wanted something simple, beautiful, intuitive, and privacy-focused that wouldn't sell my data or bombard me with ads, but also something that would sync across all my devices and be accessible from any location.

What started as a personal tool to organize my own gaming backlog has grown into a platform that helps gamers worldwide track, organize, and celebrate their gaming journeys. Every feature is built with real gamers in mind, because I am one too.

Game Rover remains an independent, bootstrapped project focused on serving the gaming community with respect and transparency.

Unlike big gaming platforms, Game Rover doesn't track you across the web, build advertising profiles, or share your data with third parties. Your game library is yours alone.

As an independent developer, I have no corporate pressure to monetize your data - Game Rover's success comes from providing value to gamers, not from selling information about them.
